Arizona - Sonora Desert Museum - The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place!

Canyon de Chelley National Monument
Located on the Navajo reservation in north-east Arizona (about a 8 - 9 hour drive from Green Valley) - this is a "must-see" ! Pima Air & Space Museum - History takes flight - this is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, with more than 275 aircraft and spacecraft.

Titan Missle Museum - Take a step back to the Cold War Era, and tour the Titan Missile Museum - the only publicly accessible Titan II missile site in the nation.

Tumacocari National Historic Park - Tumacácori NHP protects three Spanish colonial mission ruins in southern Arizona, are among more than twenty established in the Pimería Alta by Father Kino and other Jesiuts, and later expanded upon by Franciscan missionaries.

Mission San Xavier del Bac - "The White Dove of the Desert", Mission San Xavier del Bac is situated in the Santa Cruz Valley nine miles south of Tucson, Arizona. Framed in the warm browns of the surrounding hills and the violet shadows of more distant mountains, it rises, brilliantly white from the desert floor of dusty green mesquite and sage.

Madera Canyon Recreation Area - Madera Canyon makes a large dent in the northwest face of the Santa Rita Mountains. Its higher elevation grants relief to desert dwellers during the hot months and allows access to snow during the winter.

A world-renowned location for bird watching, Madera Canyon is a major resting place for migrating species, while the extensive trail system of the Santa Rita Mountains is easily accessed from the Canyon's campground and picnic areas.

Colossal Cave Mountain Park - The park offers tours of a dormant cave and horseback rides through the property.

Old Tucson Studios - Wild West entertainment is on display daily, as well as film and television shoots throughout the year.

Reid Park Zoo - Meet more than 400 animals including rhinos, elephants, giraffes and many more.

Sabino Canyon - Nature hikes packed with an abundance of Sonoran Desert vegetation and great views.

Saguaro National Park East/West - The Sonoran Desert is the only place in the world Saguaros grow, and here you'll find a forest of them. Great hikes too!

West Desert Trails - Formally called the “West Desert Preserve”, West Desert Trails available for for anyone who wants to bike or hike. They ask for interested users to request a free permit.
